Medieval boxes were important personal items used to house books, jewelry, and documents. These highly decorated leather, wood, and cloth enclosures ranged in size from tiny ring boxes to large book chests. Learn to build and decorate your own leather boxes, and also apply brass or silver closures, to create unique and practical, modern-day artifacts. Expect to complete two to three boxes, depending on skills and experience - all levels welcome.
