Using a combination of box making, bookbinding, and cartonnage (French style gluing and cutting) techniques, construct a unique box with a lid that mysteriously opens in opposite directions, revealing hidden compartments. This structure is sometimes referred to as a Jacob's Ladder Box. The skills taught in this workshop include building a cartonnage style box, adding compartments, covering the box with mitered corners, and attaching a unique, double hinged styled lid. The finished box size is approximately 10” x 3.25” x 1.25”. Workshop includes all pre-cut materials.
