Brass Book Clasps (Seattle, WA)
In the four days of this class, you will learn how to make brass clasps and attach them to wooden book covers. The first day of class will be a sewing bee led by Sarah Mottaghinejad to prepare book blocks. The following weekend, Jim will lead the class in attaching the wooden cover boards, rounding and backing the spine, and making and attaching the brass clasps.
