Join artists Lynn Agnew and Peggy Vanbianchi to learn the process of moving from concept to completed book. Our subject will be “trees” for this 2 session workshop. We will do a short, creative writing exercise as well as experiment with several printmaking processes.
Printmaking techniques will include relief printing, mono-printing, rubber stamping, and paper lithography. We will conclude by combining our images and text in a chapbook structure.

Both Lynn and Peggy have incorporated printmaking in their work for many years. They are excited to share some stress-less printing techniques and show you how to display your finished work in the simple format of a chapbook. You bring a favorite high-contrast, black and white (no grey tones) picture of your favorite tree or trees. Your image should be a portrait orientation at least 6”x 8”. It can be either a photograph or drawing. All other supplies will be provided.
