This fascinating class meets over the course of two Saturdays. On the first day, John will lead you through the process of constructing a miniature cabinet using a variety of vintage wooden legs, balusters, and other bits and pieces rich with age and character. You’ll then line your cabinet with letterpress-printed papers. During the second class meeting, you’ll assemble and arrange your curiosities using items John has brought to share. This assortment might include vintage chess pieces, shell specimen displays, old finials, miniature cast-bronze statuary, a tiny skull carved from an antler, bits of coral, and other little oddities. Feel free to bring in your own curiosities no larger than one inch. Perhaps a quail egg?
