We’ll start by making suminagashi, orizome, and momi paper—techniques that have been used for centuries in Japan. You’ll enjoy the minimal process of creating decorative paper by dripping ink in water or dipping folded paper into ink. We’ll also cover Japanese bookbinding and make enclosures to hold the books we’ll bind. You’ll go home with books in a case and unique papers.
