Learn how to make a quick book using 5 simple techniques. In the morning you will learn a paint transfer technique, pop-up, pamphlet stitching, and a simple one sheet zig zag accordion. We will practice a few variations throughout this one day class. In the afternoon we will re-make the zig zag accordion and put it all together. By the end of the day you will be a pro. The simplest techniques can leave you inspired!

Instructor: Jennifer Verbit, while attending Alfred University, discovered painting and printmaking; and graduated with a BFA. Following college, at The Center for Book Arts, Jennifer has been studying the art of bookmaking for over ten years. She is experienced in teaching hands-on book arts skills to children, teens, adults and senior citizens! Additionally, at CBA, Jennifer has taught demos in Pop Up cards at the bi-annual open house.
