More fun than you can imagine! Two full days of preparing papers: marbling, paste paper, indigo, contact printing, all kinds of surface design, and some new adventures. This class is a round robin of many techniques and a wealth of inspiration. Students will leave with a portfolio of decorated papers to use in personal projects throughout the year.

Artist and Instructor MARILYN ZORNADO has been combining her love of book arts, calligraphy, poetry, and animation for more than twenty years. She is co-founder of Fremont Garden Press. Her animated films include Insect Poetry and Spring Lines.
JUDILEE FITZHUGH, is a textile artist who specializes in natural dye processes. She combines an innovative interpretation of traditional methods, handweaving, surface design techniques, and couture construction details to create a line of wearable garments, accessories, and original art pieces that portray a single moment in history.
