Papercutting is an art that spans history and cultures, from simple silhouettes to intricate designs. In this class, you will learn the basics of papercutting and how to create your very own papercuts. We will cover everything from paper, finding inspiration and cutting techniques. You will leave class with at least one finished papercut ready for framing.
Level: Introductory/Beginning Class, all levels welcome 14+.

Instructor: Bloedel Reserve Creative Resident Anna Brones is a writer, artist and producer. She is the author of several books including Fika: The Art of the Swedish Coffee Break and Hello, Bicycle: An Inspired Guide to the Two-Wheeled Life, and the founder, publisher and editor of Comestible, a biannual journal about food.
