This workshop features making a set of two boxes whereby one will be housed in the other. You will first make a large hinged lid box with a clamshell lid. The second, smaller box, will slide into an opening located beneath the larger box in the style of a slipcase, similar to that used to hold a book. In this class you will build all the box and tray components using book board and then learn the step by step covering techniques of traditional box making. Purchase your own decorative paper prior to class which is not included in the materials fee. All the decorative papers and book cloth will then be pre-cut for you prior to the class.
