Instructor: Kathleen Sheridan began folding in the fourth grade and is now a regular at national conventions, is on the Board of Directors for Origami USA and has origami friends across the globe. She runs a local group of folders in the Twin Cities, gives origami demonstrations and classes at local art stores, libraries, through community education, at the Minnesota Center for the Book Arts, at summer camps and after school clubs. Kathleen also provides the following services: origami for corporate events, birthday parties, wedding favors and special commissions. When asked why origami is such a passion, Kathleen says that after all these years of folding it is still so amazing that something so beautiful can come from a piece of paper. She is always excited to share her passion and expertise in paper folding.
