This softcover binding offers endless combinations for weaving and stitching. Signatures are sewn to the cover making a sturdy journal that opens flat for ease of use. Covers can be cut from the same color paper or from a contrasting sheet creating infinite possible combinations. Elements of design and variation will be discussed as we make a 4x6” journal. Instructor: Sue Bjerke has been a teacher of adult students for over thirty years, bringing an extensive background in other hand crafts both at MCBA and through the MN Woodcarvers Association. Her work can be seen in collections in the Hennepin County library, the University of Denver, and regional fine art galleries.
