Join us for this evening 'Book of the Month' Club where we will be making a colorful assortment of books – bound pamphlet, classic accordion, and a folded lotus book – each with instructions for making more at home. Perfect for beginners; fun for any skill level to play with variations.

Instructor: Susan M. Callan has been a (mostly self-taught) Book Arts devotee since the early 1990’s. In the mid 2000’s, she was invited to join a 12-artist team (The Creativity Center) each teaching their own art. In that Center’s 5-year run, she discovered the genuine joy of sharing her BA knowledge and skills with enthusiastic students. She’s been teaching (and, of course, still learning) Book Arts classes ever since. She is an instructor at several Bainbridge Island organizations, and this coming June, she will again be teaching at FOBA (Focus on Book Arts) national conference in Forrest Grove, OR.
