The Wales, Ireland, Scotland and England Regional Administration (WISERA) has been organizing motorcycle and bike couriers in Deliveroo and UberEats across the UK. Fellow Worker Gaby Jeliazkov, originally a member of the Montreal GMB who helped lead a successful organizing campaign at a cafe downtown, has spent the last year organizing with the London wobblies and the Deliveroo/UberEats campaign. She is going to give a brief workshop about the campaign and the strategies they have used thus far. She will also explain what her role was in the campaign, how the London branch has strategized campaigning across the city, and what unionization tactics have proved helpful for dispersed gig economy workers.
