DESCRIPTION:
Series Title: Universal Design Daily: Lessons for ALL Learners
Presenter: Dr. Paula Kluth is a consultant, author, advocate, and independent scholar who works with teachers and families to provide inclusive opportunities for students with disabilities and to create more responsive and engaging schooling experiences for all learners. Paula is a former special educator who has served as a classroom teacher and inclusion facilitator. Her professional interests include differentiating instruction and inclusive schooling.
Series Description: The three-part webinar series will explore the categories of action, expression, representation, and engagement for a variety of students that a teacher may encounter in a classroom. The focus will be on options that support students sharing what they know and can do. Sessions will also look at ways for presenting material, boosting comprehension, and making concepts accessible and “sticky.” Finally, participants will examine ideas for creating “moments” in lessons, and teaching to fascinations.

Session 2 (October 21): Pass the Rubber Chicken: UDL Engagement Ideas
